The Britari International Foundation Awards was born from a simple but powerful observation: the people doing the most important work in Nigeria — the pastor in the rural community, the young entrepreneur with no startup capital, the student breaking barriers — were rarely the ones making headlines.
Founded as an initiative of the Britari International Foundation, BIFA was created to change that. To shine a spotlight on excellence that exists not in boardrooms or celebrity circles, but in the streets, the churches, the markets, and the classrooms of everyday Nigeria.
What began as a vision in 2024 became a reality in 2025 with our inaugural ceremony — celebrating five remarkable individuals whose stories moved an entire audience to tears and cheers. Now in its 2nd edition, BIFA is growing into a movement.
